Hi, I have a computer that is connected with a network cable to our swithces, however the port is not configured. I wont to learn which port this computer is in so I can configure the port and get DHCP to it. But the switch doesn't know its mac address??
Do ports have to be configured for the switch to learn the mac address of the computer? How can I find the port that this is in if it can't learn the mac addresses first?
