Hello experts,
First all thanks in advance. I have a question in regards to MC-LAG design. The design is currently for an active-active MC-LAG using VRRP. However, I'm a bit concerned with this design due to the L2 links upstream (see attached diagram). The two routers (R1 & R2) on the top of the diagram have a layer 2 connection between each other. Being that spanning tree cannot be enabled on the ICL link (between DR-01 & DR02), won't there be a loop due to that connection between the two routers (actually layer 2 switch vlan interfaces). The ICL link is a trunk port carrying all VLANS. The AE interface between the DR-0x and the Rx are also layer 2 interfaces with just a number of VLANs. However, some of the VLANs is trunked across all 4 devices. Thanks in advance!!
