What if VCP port down - QFX5110

Hello,

I am having concern about virtual-chassis setup on my qfx5110. Refering to below topology, when the vcp port down, both qfx become "Master". Is this default behavior when "no-split-detection" is configured?QFX5110 - Virtual-Chassis.png

Since the LACP port are still up on both HW-1 and HW-2, is there any possibility of loop occur in this case and why?

Any idea or advice would be appreciated.

Regards,
